Welcome to JWood Raw Elementary!

I am honored to serve as the principal of our incredible school. This year marks my 30th year in education and my 19th year as a principal, and I can honestly say my passion for working with students, families, and staff is stronger than ever.

At JWood Raw, we are proud of our unique aviation focus, which inspires curiosity, critical thinking, and a sense of adventure in our students. This theme not only connects to science, technology, engineering, and math but also teaches life skills such as perseverance and problem-solving—skills that will help our students soar in every area of life.

Our school culture is grounded in our PRIDE language—Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Empathy—and our belief that we are truly Better Together. These values shape how we learn, work, and grow as a community.

Whether you are a long-time member of our Jaguar family or joining us for the first time, I am excited for the year ahead and confident that, together, we will make this our best year yet.
